Simple Version OF magazine Advert: Due to spelling error I have created another one above ^
Final Version of magazine advert.
Magazine advert 1: Since these pictures were taken with a HD camera, the quality was excellent. I did not want to add any fancy effects to the picture as it will ruin everything and the way the character looks. Simple pictures in my opinion attract more customers as it lets them identify you.
Below were my past ideas on my CD cover. As i have gained more experience with Photoshop, I have designed a draft version of the front, inside and back cover.

CD Digi-Packs:
This is going to be the front part of our CD pack. Looking at different artists such as 50 cent, The Game, T.I, on their front album they have something which means something or a name from their current single. This gave me a similar idea and we decided to name our album 'My Own Way.' The album of the title to us means that everyone can achieve something ass long as they believe in it and take the right way.
This is how the inside bit is going to look. We tried to make it look simple with just a lighting flare to gain the audiences attention. Furthermore the way he is pointing is where the light is and the significance of that is it represents knowledge and a source of help/advice.
This is the back cover. Again we tried to make it look simple with less effects. We want to show our image and prove to the media that there are a lot of talents around with different cultures not just one.
Magazine Ads:
These are the magazine adverts for our track promotion. As you can see there are two as there are two artists. Both artists are looking down which represents how shocking and miserable the world is at the moment as so many things are going on.
Below are some rough ideas which were at first of how our CD cover is going to look. However there are a few problems. One was that the size is not the actual size as compared to a CD cover. Secondly we did not like it as we knew we could do better. So we decided to go out in the cold weather and find a place with good scenery and lighting. We took the picture with canary wharf behind us. The reason is because it looks beautiful and has a meaning such as 'search the light to reach for your answer.'

People liked the edit of this picture of sanjit however i personally think that the colours do not match with the above edits. I took this into consideration and i have decided to change the colours so it matches with the above edits.
I have got some feedback from my mates of which album cover is going to be the best and they decided the first one because it looks unique and different.

The reason i have chosen to create this type of background is because it relates to the track name. The background reminds me of countries representing themselves with their flags during wr and this is what i wanted but from my point of view. The colours are black which represent typical rap because hardly any rap artist CD covers tend to have bright colours. the colour black and white shows contrast. For example black can be related to drugs and alchohol and white can represent how to overcome the negative problems. White has connotations of purity and putting it together with black shows contrast.
